Festival Fever

Not quite a traditional bands-in-a-field festival, but just got tickets to the Great Escape in Brighton next weekend. The Great Escape

Probably off to Latitude in the summer as well, went to End of the Road in Dorset last year and wanted something a little bigger without being quite as massive as Reading & Leeds.

Have you ever tried Larmer Tree? I've been a couple of times and absolutely loved it and I've always been intrigued by End of the Road, is it quite similar?

Haven't been to Larmer Tree, but I would assume it is, same venue so I guess it's a similar atmosphere. It's really great, as well as the bands there's art installations and a library in the woods, great food and drink, vintage bookstalls and clothing fairs, comedy. Was lovely and I'll definitely go back in future, just wasn't as tempted by the line-up this year.

Just 46 days until the Isle of Wight festival! I'm semi excited, even though the line-up is so-so... looking forward to a few of the smaller acts.

Me and some mates are hitting up Y NOT festival (Y-NOT FESTIVAL 2012) this year, seems like it'll have a pretty chilled atmosphere with it being so small and all. I see it more as a warm up for Leeds!

Don't worry, I hadn't heard of many of them either Great stuff though, and an interesting range of venues, from big halls to pubs, clubs and in one case a church complete with pews which was a little surreal.
