from last year I'm still listening to the vaccines and Kasabian were both amazing albums IMO also loving the Maccabees new album also enter shikari's new album is quite good!

I'm also into loads of different music old, new, heavy or slow.

I've been listening to Spansh band, Reina Republicana, a lot lately. it came out last year and the best unknown band I've heard in quite a while. This song makes me giddy: it's a bit indiepop, a bit shoegazey and a lot of awesome:

Seen them live and they're awesome!

    However....

This year is all about The Black Keys, their shit is so damn awesome. They sound like band that Jack White wishes he created.

Love The Black Keys' album too, probably my favourite cd of 2012 so far. That and Tribes' album.

Pre-ordered Dry the River's album earlier, March can't come quick enough.

I'm going to push this band one more time... then crawl back into my deeply unhip guitar-hole.

Must also admit, I'm quite a country fan, from Cash, to Aldean, to Patsy Cline, to The Band Perry. Anyone else? :')
