I've been listening to a lot of 'electro' pop recently, like The Naked & Famous, Cults, Gypsy and the Cat - a bit different for me really

Favourite recent albums are 'The Horrors - Skying' and 'I Break Horses - Hearts'.

Among my all time favourite artists are: The Smiths, Morrissey, My Bloody Valentine, anything under the Sarah Records label, Ride, Slint and Strawberry Switchblade.

Oh I adore The Pains! I saw them when they played Leicester recently. Wonderful they were. And I have every single record Sarah ever put out! And My Bloody Valentine's Loveless is THE greatest record ever made.

This Sarah release is quite possibly the best song ever made...

Same, same, same to absolutely everything that you said there (apart from see The Pains, but one day...).

Sarah Records is just such an unbelievable thing, never has a label churned out so much that means so much and sounds so great within such a short period of time. I have all of the releases on mp3 and I could just listen to that on repeat forever and be happy.

Re: MBV, I just hope they will someday record some new material, but it will forever be compared to Loveless and therefore forever it will be doomed.

Literally about to write the same thing and post the same link. Great film, great soundtrack. Also been listening to Watch the Throne, SBTRKT's album, some Mount Kimbie and The Weeknd. Been getting into Little Dragon as well.

The Weeknd stuff is awesome! Thee Watch the Throne album I have, but haven't spent much time with it. I need to rectify that.

I've been listening to Fleet Foxes, Roisin Murphy and Yael Naim a lot lately. Also Regina Spektor, who is just the best singer and songwriter EVER
