This morning has seen me begin a love affair with Belle and Sebastien's "If you're feeling sinister". It's beautiful - like what would happened if you got Nick Drake to sing The Smiths but with an uplifting wistfulness.

Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Alesso, Daft Punk, Avicii, Steve Aoki, Sweedish House Mafia, Madeon, R3hab ... good stuff!
Yeah I mostly listen to EDM 75% of the time.
A few albums I'm bumping...
The XX - Coexist
Of Monsters And Men - My Head Is An Animal
Bloc Party - Four
Some killer tracks on repeat
Mumford & Sons - I Will Wait
Bastille - Bad Blood
Kyla La Grange - Vampire Smile
Friends - Ideas On Ghosts
The XX -Fiction
I'm getting into Pavement's 'Slanted and Enchanted' for the first time. It's strange listening to such messy, unpolished music after spending the last year listening to essentially well produced pop rock music.

I'm currently digging into old music, I'm having stints with Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, The Who, James, The Clash, The Smiths & The Housemartins trying to catch up on everything I missed whilst I was still a twinkle in me ol' mans eye.
Also Mad Men has plunged me into the world of 50's & 60's e.g. Dinah Washington, Etta James, Elvis, Louis Armstrong, Otis Redding etc.
Jake Bugg, Horrible Crowes and Paul Heaton's The 8th are holding strong on my playlist also.
I can't stop listening to the new Grizzly Bear record.

Just started listening to 'Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters', an album by the 'Twilight Sad'. Beautiful stuff and drenched in tasty literary references.
Also Iron & Wine's 'Our Endless Numbered Days', a classic bit of indie folk.
Finally, returning to Bon Iver's 'Emma, Forever Ago' after neglecting it for a while. Faultless album, never get's old.
The xx's 'Coexist' and Clock Opera's 'Ways To Forget'. Top.
Picked up three albums from CEX yesterday and have fell in love with all of them!
Belle and Sebastian- Dear Catastrophe Waitress
Elliott Smith - XO
Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker (it's got me over my fear of country!)
Idlewild - 100 Broken Windows
Brand New - The devil and god are raging inside me
The Antlers- Burst Apart
The latter is particularly awe-inspiring. Don't expect anything less from the Antlers lately.
