Stop raiding my music library, Nath! More of a fan of Idlewild's later stuff, but I have a soft spot for the spikier early albums too. And The Antlers are incredible, Hospice is so intensely emotional, and Burst Apart's fantastic too.

Aha it is rather uncanny! It's probably got something to do with us both being miserable gits at heart.
Idlewild is rather more aggressive than my music taste generally gets, and the earlier stuff has a whiff of (dare I say it) emo to it. But it's great stuff!
Only bought Burst Apart this week and I'm hooked, it's alot easier to listen to than Hospice. I have to really work myself up to listen to the latter, because it's so devastating.
The xx - 'Missing'

This is in addition to my usual daily doses of Neutral Milk Hotel, Smiths, Radiohead and Elliott Smith.
Currently got The Milk - Tales from the Thames Delta, on repeat, as well as Michael Kiwanuka.
Lot's of Manchester Orchestra.

Checking out a recently suggested artist called "Foxes", a young woman with a voice akin to Birdy and the production value of Imogen Heap. Insane.
