Loving Tribes aswell.
If you're into Ben Howard, Bon Iver kind of stuff, check out Dave McPhearson. A tad on the melodramatic side, but very nice. And DON'T miss out on Charlie Simpson's solo stuff. Yes, I know he was in Busted but his solo stuff is beautiful.
U2, Coldplay and Kings of Leon.
NOT. LOLOPOP. I don't know why I wrote that either.
Errr still have a massive soft spot for Phoenix (especially alphabetical) and Justice's first offering ( don't think they'll better †) also Biffy's first 3 albums. Also Them crooked Vultures, Joy Formidable, the last foo fighters record, the first twin atlantic mini album, Bon Iver's last was also brilliant. And so I watch you from afar are pretty awesome.
I'm currently listening to the new Big Troubles record on Slumberland.

I heard Lana Del Rey on Jools Holland the other day. I hadn't heard her before but I knew there was this tremendous hype about her and people were already starting to tear her down for having a manufactured backstory and, supposedly, a surgically enhanced face. I think it's terribly sad.
Especially when the song, and her voice, is so damn good. The lines about video games are a little tough to get down the ear, but I think it's solid gold. She calls it "Hollywood Sadcore"... Check it out.

Just got back from Arctic Monkeys in Brum. Fookin hell. I really love their new material, too - Suck it and See is already one of my favourite albums.
Those indie muppets the Vaccines were in support, really like them but they weren't a great fit.
