    Brogue Boots and Tucking

    Hey guys,

I just purchased a nice pair of black brogue boots and was wondering how to pull them off best. I wear boots with jeans 95% of the time and with my chunkier worker boots I do tuck in the jeans without any problems. Unfortunately, tucking does not seem right with these brogues. The problem here is that they are slimmer than my worker boots and the look becomes kind of untidy because my jeans are straight ones and therefore much wider than the boots. I tried the boots on with some skinny jeans tucked in and they looked great but usually I do not wear skinny jeans.

So what should I do? Just wear the jeans over the boots? Seems like kind of a waste because the nice detailling gets hidden this way.

leave the jeans untucked but roll the hem a couple of times so that you are still showing off the fact that you're wearing boots.

    Seems reasonable, thanks!
