    Dr Martens

Jeans or chinos are the obvious choice for legwear, but any creative ways to smart-casually wear Dr Martens boots?
I think a suit might be pushing it but what if it's just the jacket in maybe some thicker fabrics like wool or tweed?

Well you could go out all skinhead/mod and wear them with some classic Levi's, a Fred Perry polo (buttoned all they way), and maybe a harrington jacket or some suspenders/braces if you're brave enough.

Boots like Dr Martens can be worn with pretty much anything in my opinion - except for the smarter suit. In winter, with all the rain and snow, I usually change my office shoes for leather boots, and find that they're pretty much interchangeable.

Here are some good examples of smart casual Dr Martens looks:

I'd love some tweed trousers but I don't know any place which sells them, I could try looking online but my trouser size is very inconsistent, it could be a lot of hassle.
