Protecting shoes of more than one colour

I picked up a pair of leather boat shoes in the asos sale and I'm obviously wanting to protect them against the British summer but I'm not sure what to use on them as they are more than one colour:

    Thanks in advance.

If you go to a specialist cobbler / shoe repair centre they sell clear waxes. Or perhaps a protecting spray.

Dubbin! Melt it and put it on with a small paintbrush.

    Cheers gents

I have some dubbin lying around. I thought of the protective spray, I've used similar on my desert boots, I just didn't know if it was good for the leather.

Dubbin is awesome for leather, and I think most of the sprays available will work fine (just check that they contain at least a little wax)
