    A decent pair of Loafers?

Hey guy, first time poster after plenty of looking!

I'm in need of a new pair of suede/nubuck loafers so I am debating investing in a pair of Tods, these ones to be precise. Gommino Driving Shoes in Nubuck XXM0GW05473VEKR401, All, Shoes, Spring-Summer, Shop Man - Tod's

I've also looked at a few pairs in Zara and Massimo Dutti, which are considerably cheaper!!

The first pair of shoes I've invested in are Tan Loake Cannons (Double Monks) and this was only recently, but I love them! I'm curious as to whether it's really worth investing in such a casual shoe? I live in Singapore so weather isn't really a problem.

    Cheers for any advice

If you can afford them, go for the expensive ones imo

I don't like driving shoes at all tbh. I think there are much better options out there. But if you like them, go for it. And Ivan is right - if you can afford it, shoes are worth investing in.

I mean I probably could but it would mean not spending much for the rest of the month. I've been looking at some Massimo Dutti ones as well. I was thinking maybe buy the MD ones and then put some money away each month until I can get the Tods.

    How are MD shoes?

That's not the same as being able to afford them.

Can't comment on quality of MD but plenty on here seem to rate the brand.
