Oh, I really like those; the soles are great. I think those are versatile enough. They seem more of a stone colour than beige, so would work with most colours blue, indigo, black, brown, camel, mustard, green whether it be jeans, cords, chinos, tweed.

They're nice, they look a lot like a pair of Grenson brogues I was looking at recently. I'm looking at getting a second pair of brogues to go with the Grenson Freds that I bought before Christmas. I really like the Grenson Sharp brogue boots in either the honey or oxblood colour, but then I would like to own a pair of brogues in the regular shoe style, so I'm also looking at the Stanley brogues (links below).

Sharp Boots, Men's Boots, Brown Boots, Leather Boots, Grenson Boots, British Boots.
Sharp Boots, Leather Boots, Grenson Boots, Men's Boots, Handmade Shoes.
Stanley Brogues, Men's Shoes, Oxford Brogues, Leather Shoes, Handmade Shoes.

Any opinions on which one to go for? I love the rich honey colour, it has a really nice shine to it, so I'm favouring those at the moment.

I have a pair of Grenson Fred's in the Honey colour and I love them! I also picked up a pair of these, which I thought were a bargain, for when the weather gets better:

Paolo Vandini - Haratio Suede - Sand - Mens Clearance - Clearance

Any suggestion for what to where them with? Assumed a nice pair of indigo jeans, but was unsure when I gave them a quick try. I think perhaps I am just used to wearing darker footwear.

They're nice, bit of a bargain you've got at that price! As an alternative to jeans, how about some navy or burgundy chinos? I'd imagine they'd go well with either, because they are a nice neutral colour.

    More brogue porn.

These O'Keeffe brogues just appeared on the Mr Porter website:

They are simply gorgeous, but sadly £400, which I don't have! I can but dream.

Decided to look at getting some brogues now that my desert boots are my only smart/casual shoe option.

What do you lot think to this pair?

I'm not in the market for another pair of shoes at the moment, let alone another pair of Brogues, but I might cover them for a while!

The redish hue of the O'Keeffe brogues is just amazing.
