Shoes That Need Repairing

are there any shoe brands that can be repaired..?the new trend seems to be shoes that cant be reparied and thrown away and buy the same throw away again..why are the shoe companies doing this?

If they're proper, quality leather men's shoes then I generally get my shoes repaired quite frequently. It's a cheap pair of deckshoes or canvas shoes then I rarely bother, though that's usually because i'm bored with the design by then.

I tend to care for my shoes like they're my children so I have to repair them less my days. And yes, I really need a girlfriend...

This is because of the emergence of lower quality leather out there. Higher price doesn't exactly mean higher quality either.
