I recently bought my first pair of brown brogues, didn't have a lot of money so went with these from Debenhams. Very comfortable and managed to get some discount through my cousin who works there so they only cost £45

Amazon.com: Clarks Montacute Lord Tan Leather Mens Boots Size 8.5 US: Shoes

I was thinking about getting these brogue boots from my local Clarks store (although they do look darker and the colour seems less distressed in the flesh), which I think for a budget of around €100-€120 isn't half bad. Any thoughts about this particular pair? Cheers!

I am stuck between this shoe in Rosewood: Barker Linz - Pediwear Footwear

Or this shoe in Brown: Loake English shoes

Has anyone had any experience with these two shoemakers?

I was recently bought a lovely pair of Nutmeg coloured brogues from Base London and I was wondering whether the quality is good or not. I can't find any pictures or links so I sound very vague but is it worth keeping or do Base London have a bad reputation for bad quality?

cheers - im a bit on the tight side, when it comes to clothes etc, so can never justify spending big money on such things...despite the old adage!
