What Shoes To Wear With Red Jeans?
Now Im already thinking on the more casual side I can pair them with some grey or maybe black converse all stars - but can I wear any type of smarter shoe with them?
Also Clarks desert boots types might work?
A friend who thinks himself mr knowall on fashion says NO smart shoes will work.
heres the pair I have: Reell DNM - Grip Tapered Chino Wine Red | FreshCotton.com

No offence, but your friend is full of shit. I have a pair of NN07 twill chinos in a very similar shade. I like pairing them with a high polished black brogue boot by Hudson. They look great. I also have some lighter brown brogues that work well as well.

I'd pair them with a tan or reddish brown brogue; something a little chunky as those chinos look a little looser fitting to these eyes:

They'll work well with desert boots too. I'd go for something in beige, tan or grey.

That sounds a great combination. I really need to venture into the monk strap at some point.

All the suggestions sound great. All I would add is that if you are going for smart shoes, wear something smart up top too to give the look cohesion.
