I'm Only 5'4 And I Want To Buy High Boots. Will They Make Me Look Shorter?

I've never had real issues with my height and I do think 5'4 is certainly ok for an american woman like myself (though I have to admit I felt rather short on the last time which I've traveled abroad to Holland, some of the dutch girls are really tall by U.S standards) but I'm concerned I'll look shorter than I really am if I'll buy thigh high boots like these:

Amazon.com: Not Rated Women's Starlet Boot: Not Rated: Shoes

I've read online people that say it's actually the other way around as high boots actually draw more attention to your legs making them look longer.

I wonder what some of the experts around here have to say?

It's a shame no one replied to this yet =P
I once had a girlfriend who dressed soo amazingly and had so many pairs of heels i only saw my favorites once every few months. But in the fall she had a tendency to wear high boots with skinny jeans and it always looked nice. She had long legs so they accented them which might be what you want to go for? Even if your legs still do look short they will look nice being short ;]
