Opinions On These Shoes

What are peoples thoughts on these shoes?



I really like them, but am unsure which i prefer. I already have several pairs of brorgues, so was thinking about the second pair, but now I'm not so sure.

Big fan of the uppers, I really like long wing Brogues, not so big a fan of the sole though. You'd need a pretty robust style to pull them off.

They're a little on the clumpy side for my liking, I prefer a slimmer leather sole.

I really like them, was in the Doc Maarten shop a while back and had a look, think i prefer the first pair.

Look awesome to me. Whichever you go for (saddles and full wing brogues are both cool, offbeat choices), wear them with some heavy duty kit - waxed jackets, cable knits, overcoats, etc.

No, really not for me. Why would you do that to the sole of otherwise lovely shoe!!!

Because England. Have you been outside recently? A big sole is a fine way to take heritage style for a long walk.

I'm with Nathan, I really am not a big fan of this sole. I recon it can easily outdate itself and end up looking like something a 12 year old thinks will make himself look hard.
Although as Sam says, it does tie beautifully into the heritage trend...
