Yet Another Desert Boots Thread

Hey guys,

I've been reading desert boots are a great shoe to own and really versatile. I also got some ASOS gift cards so I think I'll buy a pair from there:

It's a toss up between the dark brown, the sort of tan and the sand colour

I'm just wondering what will be the most versatile and look best. I'd like to wear them with Dark blue jeans, Burgundy and tobacco coloured chinos.

Any suggestions?

Dark brown will probably be the most versatile, also they will be more durable as they won't mark as easily as tan or sand.

Dark brown goes with pretty much anything, tan is a little more limiting but would look amazing with the dark jeans and the burgundy chinos. Can't see them working with tobacco though.

Thanks for your advice, that's sort of what I'm thinking, dark brown is more versitile and i agree I think tan will look better than dark brown with those two and it might be worth getting tan because of that!

i have some dark brown ones and they work with pretty much everything. however, dont know if theyd look good with the dark brown chinos.. think a sand colour would look better

I own four pairs of desert boots, be sure to go with the dark brown if you only own one pair, they'll go with nearly everything you own and won't show the scuffs and dirt and water marks as much as the other colours. You will LOVE them.

I have also dark brown color boots and on that some special writing so this is my favorite one.

Dark brown is a little on the boring side to me. Those tan ones will look great with jeans and burgundy.
