Need Help Wearing Boots
I tend to usually wear plimsolls when dressing up but i now have an interest in buying some boots but im not sure of what type to buy and how to wear them in the right way. (any alternatives to boots will also be much appreciated)
im usually out casually in: - flannel shirts
- carrot fit jeans or chinos
- Cardigans
- Plimsolls (as previously mentioned)
For work:- Harrington Jacket
- chinos
- shirt and tie
- smart shoes

If you have the budget (but then with these you definitely pay for quality and great looks that last)....then you cant go wrong with a pair from this selection
I have 2 pairs, one in black, one in mid/dark brown
Both go superbly well with just about anything in my wardrobe

This seems related to something I just posted a question on. Have you looked at Red Wing boots at all? I can see 8144s or 8139s working with your casual outfits, though it might be stretching it for the work clothes. They do have some dressier boots available, too.

red wing is a good should for casual shoes, but if your looking for something that you can wear at work a pair of brogue boots is a great option as theyre so versatile.
if you go for the brogue boots, its worth spending a bit more and getting a goodyear welted pair.
