Are Boots Appropriate for Summer?

I prefer boots over any other shoes, but are they appropriate to wear with long pants/jeans during the summer? If so, what style of boots should be considered for the warm months?

Personally I rarely wear boots in summer, although I do wear them occasionally with jeans on colder summer days. Thinking about it, I'd wear boots in summer in the evenings but never in during the day. I know it's silly but boots with long pants during a hot summer day, just does'nt look right me. Anyway if you're comfortable wearing and your feet don't get too hot, then go for it! Perhaps a nice light colored suede desert boot?

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah if I were out and about during the day I wouldn't consider boots. I was thinking more for night or long parts of the day indoors.

I wear suede desert boots during summer - even with shorts! :eek: Clarks ones are unlined so they don't get too warm.

Stick to light suede and you should be all good my dog
