Crepe Sole Derbies
So I've got a pair of much-loved burgundy leather derbies, one of which now has a hole worn in the sole. Think I'll try and get them resoled, but I was pondering getting a crepe sole put on rather than the standard leather for a bit of a casual twist.
Any thoughts on whether this'd look good?
If so, do I go with a desert-boot-esque heeled sole like these APCs:
Or a wedge sole like these Common Projects?
Wedge every time
Post pics when you do it
Next question then, cobbler recommendation in Brighton anyone?
2nd vote for the wedge sole.
Was thinking about getting the same CPs, in black though. Would you mind, if you end up buying them, how the wedge sole looks? I am afraid that it would look too intense...
I'm resoling a pair I have to look similar, not buying the CPs! But sure thing, I'll put up pictures of the finished article.

Then again, the wedge has got more edge (no rhyme intended).
Yea, I'd go for the wedge.
Just saw the pictures and didn't bother to read all of it. Sorry about that!
