Oh you bastard - good call, they look good. That said, I'm not a fan of centre stitching in any shoe. Personal dislike of mine, not sure whether it's grounded in conventional "good taste" or not but it uses smaller sheets of leather so it's probably a no-no. Even so, good buy.

You have hit upon a great bone of contention :p
I think it's manageable if your boots and jeans are tastefully worn and aged, and of course your trousers are slim enough to wear with a chelsea boot, but in general I'm of the opinion that black and brown is a no-no.
You can argue all you like that black jeans can work with brown shoes, but at the end of the day they will always look better with black ones, so why make an inferior choice?
