    New Balance Trainers

I never normally wear trainers other than for the gym or for a run. Recently, however, I have increasingly been tempted by a pair of New Balance, having seen them look good on various street style blogs. I'm just not sure what I would wear them with, and whether they would end up barely worn.

    Any opinions?

I don't get this New Balance fad, they do seem to be everywhere atm but I don't like them at all.

They strike me as being very similar to the Nike Air Max thing that is also very popular, usually with pin rolled jeans or chinos and white socks. I'm not sure I understand it.

Oh I totally get the Nike Air thing though. New Balance just seems like a poor man's version.

funny you started this topic! was actually thinking about buying a pair as well, but am in two minds.

I would pair them with jeans, chinos or shorts and aim for the "sport luxe" look, but theyre more of a S/S shoe IMO.

i dont think i would go for this look -

More along the lines of this

Yes, you could be right about being more s/s. Right now i should probably invest in a decent umprella rather than a pair of trainers!

If you want to look like a wanna-be extra on 'The Only Way is Essex' then this may be the look for you.

Personally I tihnk a pair of plain white trainers looks a lot better.

I'm pretty sure the guys at pitti uomo wearing them didn't look like TOWIE extra's. Not that I have ever actually seen the show.

Not a massive fan of trainers in general, but definately not these. I just don't understand why you'd wear such footwear out of the gym, especially when you could replicate the look with much cheaper alternatives.
