Hey chaps - Just wondering if I'm likely to trash my white canvas Jack Purcells in the washing machine.
They're looking a little grubby now and I'd rather not buy a new pair if a spin in the washing machine and a couple of days drying out will get them looking their best again.
Anyone any experience of sticking trainers in the washing machine?
I wash my canvas vans in the washing machine; take out the laces, use non bio powder/liquid so you don't lose the glue that sticks the insole to the shoe and keep it on a lower wash, they'll clean up well enough.
mine where blue so they lost a bit of colour but with white you'll be fine.
I put them in a pillow case and tie it. Then I put that in the washing machine with a towel. This stops them getting damaged as they bang off the washing machine drum.
Yes the way to put them into pillow and then into washing machine will be the okay.
