Quirky Danish brand Anerkjendt returns with a new collection that blends streetwear and outdoors styles whilst holding onto the brand’s eye for detail and reputation for creating bold, stand out pieces. The outdoors element is introduced via the colour palette, which features a variety of green and earth tones. Texture reinforces this influence, with quilting adding a rugged, practical edge to outerwear whilst thick wools offer a heritage appeal. These textures are utilised creatively to produce some interesting pieces, such as a pair of quilted trousers and a blazer with sleeves that contrast in fabric as well as colour. Hiking boots and parka coats pad out this aesthetic, providing timeless wardrobe staples to help ground the more adventurous items. However, this outdoors look is balanced with a strong streetwear influence.
