Menswear label Diverso fuses British design with fine Italian craftsmanship, offering classic pieces that are both luxurious and stylish. Founded and led by two young British designers, James Reynolds and Darren Hampton, the label manufacturers its pieces entirely Italy, where every single product is carefully crafted by more than ten family-run factories. ‘Made in Italy’ has always been stamp synonymous with quality and style, and the brand’s new AW13 collection delivers on both fronts.

Our neck wear collection, for example, is completely made by hand in Como, Italy with the ties still being hand cut and sewn as they were decades ago. To show off the collection, Diverso have selected British model Ryan Darvill to front its campaign. Darvill’s classic good looks and James Dean-esque appeal perfectly complement the traditionally masculine pieces on show. The collection predominantly consists of tailoring and wardrobe staples, with shirts, suiting, trousers, knitwear and coats coming in a timeless palette of restrained neutrals, with colour pops added for an injection of life. The stand out item has to be contrast sleeve blazer, retailing at £389. The blazer is slim cut, made from 300gm wool and features two on trend navy/grey check patterns that contrast beautifully against each other. The sleeves add a fresh and youthful spin to a classic piece, helping effortlessly set your own formal or smart-casual looks apart from the crowd. Another favourite of the team here, the salmon pink long sleeve polo is a smarter version of the standard ‘casual’ polo, utilising many traditional shirting elements within its design. The top is made from 100 per cent pique cotton and includes a button-down collar, coming complete with a tonal Lycra waistband for added detailing.
