Drop Dead

Founded in Sheffield in 2005 by metal band Bring Me The Horizon’s front man, Oliver Sykes, Drop Dead clothing built its reputation on its characterful and unique graphic tees and distinctive, high quality street wear inspired by 1990s culture. In recent years, thanks to a cult internet following, Drop Dead has grown and massively expanded its range, releasing everything from knitwear to swimwear, all featuring their distinctive styling and prints. Their range of jackets feature on trend cuts and prints but with a Drop Dead twist in the form of bold back prints, patch detailing and logos. Collaborations within Drop Dead are unique, in that rather than doing cross overs with other street wear designers they work with musicians and bands to produce limited run pieces. The ‘Keep it Steel’ crew neck, for example, was the result of a collaboration with Sheffield band While She Sleeps, whilst the ‘Louie Knuxx – Dying Slow EP Bundle’ is an EP that comes bundled with an exclusive print t-shirt. So, for those of you more inclined towards streetwear, a few choice Drop Dead garments will make a fantastic addition to your wardrobe. Due to limited runs of certain pieces, you may well find yourself the owner of a truly distinctive and unique piece. Drop Dead is set to release a new spring/summer 2013 collection this month, which will no doubt contain some innovative new pieces complete with the brand’s trademark style.
