FashionBeans x Burton – Bloggers Choice: SS13
Ever the curators of fine menswear, this month Burton plays host to four of the Internet’s nattiest dressers for the launch of the ‘Blogger’s Choice’ editorial. Framed by the backdrop of London’s iconic Marylebone, the #BurtonBloggers project is a tour de force of style made up of editors from across the front row of menswear. FashionBeans’ own Luke Todd went along to Burton HQ, bearing a dozen gifts, to offer his spring/summer wardrobe edit. Shot by Elle, Grazia and NY mag ‘The Cut’ contributor Victoria Adamson, the photo editorial has a street style appeal; marrying the clean cut lines of sartorialism with the rough edges of one of London’s best locations.

With a clear focus on print for SS13, Luke’s first look pairs camouflage playfully with a crisp white shirt (and a less-sobering round collar) and a navy merino wool jumper, which is finished off with tan brogues and the casual merits of a leather backpack:

After a brief rain check, brogues hit the pavement once again, this time showing how to transition through seasons with layering. With a quick switch to Burton’s grey polka dot jumper, Luke threw a jersey blazer over the top for added warmth – with the suede elbow patches keeping the outfit suitably on point. His own personalised cross grain leather-bound notebook from Smythson acted as the vibrant centrepiece for this city chic look:
