With a standalone store and several seasons under their belt, British menswear label Foxhall London have released their AW13 collection. Maintaining an urban gent appeal, the range includes sleek minimal tailoring, knitwear, fashion-led technical wear and luxury jersey pieces. Inspiration for the collection comes from city living, resulting in designs that are both functional and stylish. Looks to take you effortlessly from the office to the evening are made possible with classic and clean designs for an unfussy and masculine silhouette. The sartorially-inclined chap has plenty to choose from in the collection. The York coat is a notably strong piece; a great interpretation of the classic pea coat, which takes notes from military influence. Minimal and sleek – coming in black, navy and khaki – the coat is made from a warm and durable Melton wool blend and carries a signature Foxhall Blue under collar. With the urban setting in mind the coat even caters for all the must-have gadgets every guy needs. Internal pockets can house smartphones and Kindles, whilst a concealed sleeve pocket is perfect for your Oyster card. As well as smart tailoring, Foxhall’s latest line also delivers strong sports pieces that are great for the gym or casual wear. A particular stand out is the Garrick, a hooded zip through sweater. The classic red and navy colour ways along with the tailored fit makes it an ideal piece for layering. Stretch fabric means it’s comfortable whilst the thermal breathability properties ensure it keeps you warm as well as managing moisture effectively. Perfect for the unpredictable British climate. A final highlight is found with the biker puffa, an update on a classic design. The nylon jacket has a premium blend of 80 per cent down and 20 per cent feathers for maximum winter insulation yet manages to remain lightweight.
