Made-in-England brand Marwood continues to highlight the importance of accessories with their SS14 collection. The London label first unveiled the range, which includes neck wear, pochettes and hosiery, at London Collections: MEN earlier this year. Taking inspiration from photographs of deserted Icelandic homes, as well as old English mosaic tiles, the muted collection makes up in detail what it lacks in colour vibrancy. With an emphasis on contrasting man made with worn natural textures, the range catches the eye of those who prefer a more tailored approach to dressing. The brand, which has grown from a blog to being stocked by the likes of MR PORTER and Liberty, has incorporated several textured designs into the line; the most striking of which carries a brown, green and blue mosaic pattern. Each piece is crafted in the UK by expert hands using fine English cloth. The line has received critical acclaim both at home and abroad, being featured in the likes of Port, ShortList, Menswear Insight and several editions of GQ. While the SS14 lookbook, shot by established portrait photographer Kate Peters, is available to view below, the collection will not be released until the new year. Previous seasons can still be found online and at various international stockists.
