Long-term experts, Converse have been providing us with one of the most iconic footwear silhouettes since 1917, and are now in the fifth season of Converse Accessories – a spin-off line that has been developed to build on everything the brand is renowned for. For autumn/winter 2013, the new men’s accessories collection comprises a range of winter essentials, from backpacks and duffel bags to beanies and snapbacks, as well as canvas and leather wallets, belts and the new addition of iPhone and iPad cases. The entire range is crafted in rugged, hard-wearing materials like heavy duty cotton canvas, water-resistant PU and durable poly – in other words, perfectly weather-appropriate for the coldest months, even in Britain. The collection comes in a plethora of on trend patterns and hues, from simple, block-colour designs that will form the foundation of your winter wardrobe, to bolder prints, which also come with coordinating ‘Chucks’. If you are a regular reader, you will already know that camo print is set to be huge again this AW13. Well, much to our delight, in addition to the autumnal khaki and sand patterns, Converse have also produced their own strong take on the camo trend, with a khaki, green and brown print that runs across many of the new lines. Attention to detail is prominent throughout and emphasised by high quality branded metal eyelets and zipper pulls, as well as functional design features such as padded airmesh back panels, laptop storage and adjustable straps. This collection is now available at retailers across the UK, including USC, ASOS and Surfdome.
