Reebok DMX Run 10 Summer Re-release

Although they’ve officially been a subsidiary of Adidas since 2005, it is an almost inarguable fact that Reebok have been a truly original brand for the past 60 years. Constantly moving forward without needlessly ditching past innovations that made them what they are, Reebok are set to pay themselves tribute and please athletic shoe-lovers everywhere this season, with the re-release of their classic DMX Run 10 trainer. In 1997, the Reebok DMX Run 10 became the most coveted running shoe on the market, having been released to great acclaim from sneakerheads the world over. Featuring a shock-absorbing cushioned pocket boasting “Moving Air” technology, the DMX provided optimal stability by taking the full brunt of the energy from the foot’s impact – making it one of the strongest and most comfortable shoes a runner could hope to buy. Now, sixteen years later, Reebok are reintroducing the DMX Run 10 in a new, summery palette. Featuring the same, stylish, retro silhouette and the original nylon and mesh construction that helped successfully launch the shoe into the stratosphere upon its first release, these incredible shoes will be available in vivid red, blue, orange or olive green colour ways. The 2013 re-release of the DMX Run 10 also features two-tone nylon laces, translucent gel soles, perforated rubber midsoles and a padded tongue, in addition to the shoe’s trademark cushion. The new Reebok DMX Run 10s are set to be available from all Reebok retailers from July 1st 2013.
