Reggie Yates x Burton Collaboration
It’s not unusual to see Reggie Yates sitting front row at all the biggest London menswear shows. Nor is it unusual for a celebrity to bring out a capsule collection. But what is unusual, is a celebrity clothing collection with real style credibility. Reggie Yates, unbeknown until now, is a keen photographer and this special capsule collection of apparel, in collaboration with Burton, works as the perfect medium to display his most striking of images. The photographs applied to the limited edition range of printed tees and vests are actually sourced from Reggie’s personal archives, which ensures that they offer something a lot more individual when compared to high street counterparts. FashionBeans was happy to be talked through the range by Reggie himself at the launch party for the collection; we were extremely impressed by how passionate he was about producing high quality, affordable clothing that men could be proud of, and just how much the apparel and its prints mean to him. The images display what a diverse and interesting life the presenter has led, with travel and music featuring prominently within the eight piece line. Our collection picks were the rose print t-shirts, which would add an on trend floral touch to any casual summer look. The other stand out piece was the ‘festival mosh pit tee’ – perfect for festival season and those with a passion for live music. Reggie can be seen modelling the collection in the fun summer shoot for the brand (below), which also serves as a perfect guide on how to style the pieces in an effortless and laid-back manner.
