TimRobot x River Island Limited Edition Collection
This August, our casual wardrobes have the opportunity to get a little bit more artistic as Berlin-based illustrator/graphic designer Tim Wolff (aka TimRobot) teams up with high street giant River Island for a new series of t-shirts. River Island menswear have commissioned eight unique limited edition prints from the quirky German artist for use on their new range of graphic tees. For Wolff, this is the latest move in a series of high profile, name-making collaborations, including projects that saw him partnering with Converse, Levi’s and hugely popular online t-shirt retailer Threadless, among other impressive brands. Wolff’s artistic influences tend to be rooted firmly in the worlds of street art, skate culture and the creative hub that is his home town of Berlin. It is surely with this knowledge that River Island have decided to release a brand new and exclusive skating and illustration film, also produced by Tim, to coincide with the launch of the clothing range, as part of the River Island Masterclass series. The eight tees are each priced at £25, come in black, white and marl grey colour ways and feature Wolff’s unique character creations. Highlights include the black tee with robot character against a starred backdrop, whilst the artist’s personal favourite is the photo print tee that features a character wearing a robotic suit superimposed over a photographic image of a Berlin wall. The collection will be available in selected River Island high street stores as well as online at RiverIsland.com from August 15th.
