Abandon Ship London Store Opening
Scottish streetwear label Abandon Ship has announced the opening of a new store in London. The move comes after success both online and at its Glasgow location, which launched last year. Abandon Ship made its name selling at festivals and conventions, with the aim of introducing quality, creative t-shirt designs to the menswear market. A presence in the capital marks the latest expansion for the brand, which also now offers labels such as Dr. Martens, Dickies and Herschel alongside its own products. The ASOS-stocked independent hopes to retain its exclusive edge through its 100 concept, providing yearly subscribed customers with monthly limited run t-shirts. Abandon Ship’s new London store is situated on Newburgh Street, next to the fashion hub Carnaby Street, in Soho. The opening will take place tomorrow with a launch party between 6pm – 9pm marking the event. Alongside refreshments, the celebrations will include the rolling out of a brand new range, a live drawing by Bristol-based art collective Long Fox, and a 30 per cent discount from all sales across the weekend. Abandon Ship continues to be available via its Glasgow store and online at: store.abandonshipapparel.com. Subscription to the Abandon Ship 100 service costs £250 for twelve t-shirts and will also ship for the first time this week.
