Swedish brand Uniforms For The Dedicated has revealed the result of tapping former gay porn star Aiden Shaw to appear in its new film. The fashion short stars the now writer, musician and model in pieces from the menswear label’s 95-piece SS14 collection, titled We’re Ok & The Smoking Fox. Directed by Kalle Gustafsson, the film is set in the brand’s home of Stockholm. It features Shaw describing what he considers to be the key to happiness. The 48-year-old can be seen in tailoring, knitwear and outerwear in the one minute clip, which premiered on Vogue Italia. On the choice to cast Shaw, Creative Director, Fredrik Wikholm, said: “Few men embody the beliefs of Uniforms for the Dedicated better than Aiden Shaw. A versatile environmentalist that has lived many lives, a writer, musician, gay porn star, model and teacher.” Earlier in the year Wikholm, revealed the collection in an exclusive interview with FashionBeans. It includes a number of pieces inspired by abstract art, in Italian and Portuguese materials. Founded in 2007, the firm currently has a single stand alone store in Stockholm.
