Unseen Images Of Menswear Collaboration Released
French lifestyle brand Aigle has released previously unseen images of its collaboration with artists Alex And Marine exclusively through FashionBeans. The menswear arm of the collection, made up of clothing and footwear, features animal-based illustrations in the pair’s signature feather design. A bear, deer and eagle can be seen on three separate t-shirts in brown, green and off-white colour ways. One hi- and one low-top trainer model also carries a similar pattern by using blown up versions of the eagle and bear graphics. Both are constructed with a canvas body and white rubber outsole. Artistic duo Alex and Marine, described by Aigle as “four hands, two brains and a lot of talent,” have previously collaborated with the likes of drinks brands Rémy Martin and Dom Pérignon and Italian motorcycle firm Moto Guzzi. Founded in 1853 as a manufacturer of rubber Wellington boots, today Aigle sells technical outerwear as well as shirts, trousers, hiking shoes and accessories. Despite making its UK retail debut with a pop-up shop in Covent Garden in 2011, Aigle currently has no standalone stores outside of Germany, Switzerland or France.
