ASOS And Lynx Commission Charity Clothing
ASOS is on a mission to promote peace with its latest collaboration. The online retailer has teamed up with Lynx on a collection of anti-conflict T-shirts. The line features five screen-printed designs, each priced at £10, with proceeds going to charity. It ties in with the grooming brand’s latest launch of the same name. Each item has been designed by a different artist. Ruby Taylor and Mat Pringle from creative group Puck Collective, Steve J Wilson, McBees, and illustrators Bread Collective were all given the brief of coming up with a look that promotes harmony and equality. Finished styles include black, white, and grey bases with the different motifs decorating the front. Taylor’s ‘Ten Doves, One heart’ T-shirt features a bandana-inspired design. “Bandanas show you’re part of a gang, so this will show your allegiance to peace,” she said. The net profit from each sale will be donated to non-government organisation, Peace One Day, which works on schemes throughout the world to promote peace. All five designs are available online via the ASOS website. The designated page also hosts several interactive experiences, such as Instagram competitions and prize draws. Those wishing to take part have until June 15th and must use the hashtag #ASOSloves. For more information on Peace One Day visit the charity’s website www.peaceoneday.org.
