First Of Fashion Flick Trilogy Released

Ben Sherman has brought its Button Up campaign to the small screen by releasing a trilogy of short films. The first of the three clips, produced in association with creative agency Fresh Britain, follows the daily routine of a senior officer in the British Special Forces, documenting his way of life and approach to buttoning up. Aimed at showcasing current season pieces, including the button-up shirt and turn-up denim, the short focuses on the importance of preparation; one of the “three disciplines that every man needs in his life,” according to the label. Two follow-up films, yet to be released, will also focus on “people who live by these principles, which are a vital part of who they are and what they do”. Ben Sherman’s heritage dates back to 1963. The British brand’s button up shirt was adopted as a uniform by members of the mod subculture in the late sixties. The full AW14 collection is available to buy now online and in Ben Sherman stores across the UK. Prices for shirts start from £50.
