Boutique Label Reworks Timeless Footwear Styles

Three existing footwear styles from Grenson have been given an update in a new collaboration with Concept by Cruise. The young boutique brand has reworked the established firm’s Archie and Stanley Brogues as well as its Curt Derby as part of a series of limited edition footwear projects. The partnership with Grenson, the first in a new line of undertakings, sees just 12 of each shoe reproduced with a slimmer cut, in various shades of leather and suede. Made in Grenson’s Northampton-based factory, every pair has been numbered by hand. All feature a triple-layered leather sole, waxed laces and co-branded sock liner. Despite being only a year old, Cruise’s Concept venture has already partnered with the likes of Nike, Denham and Brooklyn We Go Hard. A short video shows the behind the scenes process of constructing the shoes from several individual pieces. Bosses say they aim to offer exclusive items that reflect the uniqueness of its customers and aid the brand’s continued growth as a “contemporary style gallery”. The limited run shoes can all be bought from Cruise’s online store as well as in select stockists across England, Scotland and Ireland. Prices start from £290 for the Archie Brogue in black suede.
