TV presenter and fashion journalist Darren Kennedy has partnered with Dublin-based tailoring chain Louis Copeland for a third consecutive season. The AW14 DK x LC Collection comprises six suits in burgundy, grey and blue colour ways, as well as flannel pinstripe, check and windowpane patterns. Details include wide peaked lapels, woollen flannel-backed waistcoats and patterned linings. Two coats also feature: a wide herringbone fabric with contrasting black velvet collar and a burgundy brushed wool overcoat, available off-the-rack or made-to-measure. Speaking about new collection, Kennedy said he believes it is the strongest to date. “Both Louis and I have put a lot of work in to this collection, making use of the highest quality Italian fabrics, our combined experience and knowledge to create what I believe is, the quintessential must have winter wardrobe.” Menswear chain owner Copeland added that the range has attracted new customers to the brand’s six standalone stores. “Working with Darren has enabled us to show Louis Copland customers that we also think outside of the creative box and we are thrilled the collections are such a huge hit with our valued clients.” The pair first collaborated in 2013, producing a capsule collection, which sold out within three weeks. The Darren Kennedy for Louis Copeland DK x LC AW14 collection is available to buy in Louis Copland stores in Ireland as well as online. Prices start from £629 for coats and £669 for suits.
