Accessories & Lifestyle Trade Show Launches

Menswear in London continues to show growth as the capital readies to welcome a new accessory and lifestyle trade show. News of ‘Detail London’ comes around the same time reports of Covent Garden as a potential male-aimed shopping hub are beginning to surface.

Taking place from 5th-6th February, the event aims to provide a well-edited collection of both new and existing sought-after brands, by creating a platform to showcase their wares.

The brainchild of Jared Horn, whose background is in both wholesale and retail, Detail London will play host to buyers and press associates in the hope of giving this sector of the men’s market a focus.

With over 30 exhibitors signed up, Horn seeks to further establish the growing accessory and lifestyle product industry by helping sellers realise the buying power of male shoppers.

Borne out of a prospering market, Detail London is unique, being the only men’s trade show dedicated to accessories and lifestyle products.

“It’s a really prosperous market right now,” said Horn. “I felt that it needed a specific platform to give these type of brands that come under this umbrella a chance to shine,” he added.

The diverse collection of items available will include watches and cashmere offerings alongside umbrellas and bicycle lights. Brands exhibiting include Pendleton, Drakes of London and Johnstons of Elgin, among others.

The event will be in direct competition with established trade show Jacket Required, which runs at the same time but is not affiliated.
