Luxury tailoring label E. Tautz presented its SS15 collection on the final morning of London Collections: Men. Creative director Patrick Grant opted for the larger of the three official LCM venues, holding the show at The Old Sorting Office. Models previewed the brand’s oversized short sleeve shirts and T-shirts, paired with above-the-knee shorts. A number of relaxed fits gave the new range a laid back casual feel, including one early look which featured a nautical-inspired draped T-shirt with vertical line design, teamed with navy shorts. Outerwear, including bomber jackets and raincoats, also made up the new offering. Clothing, which focused on navy, khaki and rich coppers, was complemented by footwear from Christian Louboutin and eyewear from Finlay & Co. The brand’s history dates back to 1867, when it launched as a west end shop. Edward Tautz’s label re-launched in 2009 under creative director Patrick Grant, who went on to win the Menswear Designer prize at the British Fashion Awards a year later. The new season collection will arrive in December, stocked at The Shop at Bluebird, Other Shop and LN-CC, as well as online at etautz.com. Current season E.Tautz is still available to buy.
