Brand Releases Down-Filled Outerwear Collection
Always putting the great outdoors at the centre of its products, American outfitters Filson has turned to one of the oldest body-insulating materials in the world for its latest release.
Made from 100 per cent European goose down, the Down Cruiser jackets are released just in time for the colder months, with the ability to withstand extreme weather conditions.
The lightweight jacket is designed to keep warm air close to the body, with the down trapping the air to form a protective yet breathable layer. Rib-knit cuffs and a Moleskin-lined collar add to the insulation, with a new ‘roomier fit’ allowing for easy movement and layering underneath.
Coming in three autumnal colour ways of camel, midnight blue and otter green, the jackets are finished with contrasting utility pockets and panelling in grey, khaki and navy blue. Distressed metal hardware add to a rugged aesthetic that harks back to Filson’s craftsmanship heritage.
The Down Cruiser jacket is available now in Filson’s London store and at select stockists, including Oi Polloi, priced at £481.
