Premium menswear e-tailer Mr Porter will this week take stock of an exclusive capsule collection from US brand Theory. Seventeen pieces make up the range, due to go live tomorrow, comprising classic shirts, seasonal outerwear, denim, tailoring, knitwear and relaxed casuals. A statement from the online store picked out the khaki field jacket as a key piece, which is constructed from Teflon coated wool and features four traditional safari pockets. The menswear e-tailer’s buying director Toby Bateman said: “Theory and Mr Porter share an affinity for wardrobe classics with contemporary leanings and it is this brand synergy that made this partnership a no-brainer for us.” “The simplistic elegance of this collection perfectly captures the spirit of the Theory aesthetic and their modern approach to design make this a great fit for the Mr Porter customer.” Theory was founded in 1997 by former Calvin Klein executive Andrew Rosen. It currently operates a single standalone store in the UK, located in Marylebone, London, in addition selling through department stores Harrods, Selfridges and Liberty. The Mr Porter x Theory capsule collection will be available to buy online from 4th November. Prices range from £175 for shirts up to £900 for a leather jacket.
