Contemporary footwear brand Pointer is celebrating ten years of trading with two anniversary styles as part of its AW14 collection, as well as multiple collaborations. The latest range continues the brand’s approach of reinventing classic shoes with new materials, styling and patterns across casual and formal shoe and trainer silhouettes in low, mid and high cuts. Key looks include the faux fur-lined Calum calf boot, all-over pattern Surfer Rosa shoe and white leather Seeker trainers. Special editions of Pointer’s Crago derby lace-ups and Calum calf boots have been produced using black uppers and high-grade materials to mark the business’s first decade. In addition to the premium nubuck and oiled full grain leather, the shoes feature leather footbeds and laces, and natural crepe outsoles. Autumn/winter also sees the launch of two collaborations, the first with textile design firm Knight Mills, who has designed an original leaf print to be used on footwear, and a second with Democratique Socks; with more information to follow in the coming months. Shoes from the Pointer AW14 collection, including the anniversary and collaboration models, are available to buy online now. Footwear prices start from £55 for the mainline, £70 for the collaboration and £155 for the anniversary range.
