Clip Explores Technical Production

British label Griffin has released a short film with the aim of showcasing its technical approach to activewear and outerwear for 2015. Titled Love Life, the video follows the brand’s research, design and production process, from initial patterns to final wear. Professional climbers and surfers were enlisted for the shoot, previewing select pieces in action as they explore a countryside landscape and beach scene. Styles from both the AW14 and SS15 collections make an appearance, as well as collaborative designs from Berghaus and Woolrich. The short film also highlights Griffin’s work with Italian manufacturer La Rocca Srl, which specialises in luxury sportswear and supplies to the likes of Dior and Armani. The label, which mixes outdoor and urban looks, has previously teamed up Baracuta and Mackintosh, as well as being the only fashion brand to have worked with street artist Banksy. Griffin is currently stocked in Present London and Flannels in both Liverpool and Manchester, in addition to its standalone store in Devon and online. The AW14 collection is available now, with prices ranging from £290 to £1,135. The SS15 range is set to follow with a January release.
