Menswear Personalities To Compete On Social Media
British menswear label Hackett is teaming up with some of London’s biggest style influencers as part of a new competitive social media campaign.
Ten personalities from across retail, styling, music and journalism have come together to celebrate the brand’s AW14 collection.
Each has selected a blazer from the new season, to be worn in Instagram images taken at the individual’s favourite spots in the capital.
The posts, expected to feature a range of locations such as St. Paul’s dome and back alley cafes, will be pitted against each other before an overall winner is chosen by the Hackett team.
Participants are made up of Grey Fox blog editor David Evans; designer and DJ Scott Fraser Simpson; and the co-founders of bow-tie site Velsvoir, Zak and Talha Velsvoir.
Journalist Seb Law; content creator Derek Addo; art director Nas Abraham; stylist Kenny Ho; blogger Martell Campbell; and personal shopper Dan Rhone also feature.
Pieces selected from the AW14 line include the Red Deco Jacket (£450), Grey Donnegal Jacket (£500) and Country Windowpane Jacket (£550).
A spokesperson for Hackett said: “This campaign embodies our roots taking us back to where it all started, the streets of London. Seeing the city through each gent’s eyes makes each shot a truly unique vision that you won’t see anywhere else.”
The final image from the #10Men1City campaign is expected to be announced via the dedicated mini-site next month.
Hackett’s AW14 collection of blazers is available to buy online now with prices ranging between £325 and £675.
