Leading Man Returns For New Season

Men’s lifestyle brand Hackett has dropped its Leading Man theme previously fronted by Pierce Brosnan in favour of four new characters. The British firm’s AW14 campaign puts to work a CEO, explorer, travel photographer and graduate in new images showcasing the latest collection, which focuses on stylish travel. The range made its debut at London Collections: Men back in January as part of a catwalk show featuring former rugby player, Thom Evans. Outerwear, clothing and accessories make up the offering from Hackett’s mainline casualwear, with pieces such as hooded shearlings, reversible padded suede jackets and luxury knits. The collection’s three sections; Poet, River Tweed and Winter Harbour, also carry partnership pieces with the Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race, Johnstons of Elgin, Stephen Walters & Sons an Aston Martin. Meanwhile the brand’s Mayfair tailoring line takes suits in a new direction, with deconstructed silhouettes, lighter fits and luxury fabrics and trims. Accessories include bags, hip flasks, cigar cases, travel cases and games. A statement from the brand said: “Of course, some of Hackett’s ‘Leading Men’ will move seamlessly from one character to another as their day (and night) unfolds. Needing a wardrobe that adapts and works.” Hackett’s AW14 collection is available to buy in store now, with an online drop scheduled to take place during the first week of August. Prices start from ÂŁ15 for smaller accessories and reach up to ÂŁ2,500.
