Henri Lloyd Real Modern Day Pioneer Campaign

Original British sailing brand Henri Lloyd is celebrating half a century of marine wear by teaming up its Black Label with three unique individuals. The company’s Real Modern Day Pioneer campaign – seen earlier in the year fronted by Henri Lloyd ambassador Sir Ben Ainslie – profiles the personal story of a small group of men dedicated to their to their chosen field. Adam Atkinson, the founder of British leather goods company Cherchbi, is just one of the faces featured. He is joined by James Marr, founder of the Bamboo Bicycle Club, and London-based tattoo artist Magnus Reid. Each pioneer is styled in a jacket taken from the spring 2014 collection. Black Label draws inspiration from the firm’s Italian design roots, offering a mix of high tech and modern looks. As part of the campaign, the three men have been interviewed by Henri Lloyd. The full transcripts are excepted to feature on the brand’s journal blog in the coming weeks. The spring 2014 collection is available from standalone stores, including the brand’s flagship, and selected stockists across the UK. The Black Label Vareo jacket worn by James Marr costs £225 and can be bought now, along with the other pieces, at henrilloyd.com.
