Collaboration Marks Menswear First
Young menswear firm Noose And Monkey has today launched a six-piece suit collection with Hype, marking the first time a tailoring brand and streetwear label has worked together.
The range, which is exclusive to online fashion retailer ASOS, features a total of nine pieces including six tailored suits and three shirts.
Imagery recognisable from Hype’s own collections, such as florals, renascence motifs and rainbows, have been applied to clothing in all-over designs and as details on lapels and linings.
A statement from Noose And Monkey said its hopes the first of its kind project illustrates “constant growth and innovative ability”.
“The concept of the collection was to combine two opposing yet current fashion companies to create unique and outlandish designs which offer authentic, high quality pieces with a distinctive edge,” it went on to say.
Earlier in the year the brand, which became one of the top performing tailoring names on ASOS in 2013, revealed its AW14 collection exclusively through FashionBeans.
The Hype x Noose And Monkey collection is available to buy now, priced at £50 for waistcoats, £65 for shirts, £70 for trousers and £180 for jackets.
